10th March 3pm-5pm

Sedition Launch: Come join us at Jura Books on Saturday 10th of March at 3pm for the launch of Sedition.

Sedition is an exciting new Australian Anarchist journal, a mutual collaboration between 3 Australian anarchist collectives, the Melbourne Anarchist Club, us folk from Jura, and Organise—the Adelaide anarchist communist group. We aim to produce thought provoking literature that challenges the established order. And we will have fresh new copies of our exciting first edition (it will also be available on our website). If you are interested in writing for the journal, get involved! Email us with any concerns, questions or articles.

Some of the articles featured in our first edition are:
- 'Casualisation & Flexible Work: How Far Can The Bosses’ Push Before We Snap?'
- 'Complicity, Traitors, Compromise And Other Media Interactions'
- 'Intersectionality– Implications For Anarcha-Feminism'
- 'Importing Zapatismo: Mexican Revolutionary Ideas And Their Relevance In Australia

Mutiny Zine: Plus, our good friends in the Mutiny collective will be joining us to talk up their excellent zine. In their own words... We started Mutiny Zine to explore different avenues of disobedience and resistance, and to encourage people to write about their experiences. In Mutiny 63, there are fantastic articles on Occupy Sydney, the role of credit within capitalism, the politics of borders, attacks on a bank and train station in Melbourne and more! Mutiny is available at jura.org.au.

Plus a Film - The Free Voice of Labor: The Jewish Anarchists is a 1980 documentary on the Yiddish anarchist newspaper 'Fraye Arbeter Shtime', and the Jewish anarchist movement of the early 20th century. A great film! Starts at 3pm on the 10th of March at Jura.
