A for Anarchy handouts

Over the last week, some dedicated Juropeans have attended various cinemas to grab people walking in and out of "V for Vendetta" screenings. Why? Because, even though the movie won't tell you, V is an anarchist.

The A for Anarchy site provided a ready-to-go leaflet that we just had to stick our details on and copy. This is a pretty good example of anarchist organising - from New York to Sydney, sharing information and tactics quickly and without concerns of ownership!

Discussion: Libertarian Perspectives for Today

Wednesday, March 1, 2006 -
6:00am to 8:00am

How relevant are libertarian perspectives for meeting today's challenges? How can we meet the challenges in the various areas
libertarians are concerned about, e.g., the challenges to human rights and workers' rights posed by the new industrial relations and
"anti-terror" legislation?

Talk by Paul Rubner, followed by discussion.
Starts at 7pm.

Jura's Gone A-Podcastin'

If you're into podcasting, loook up Jura's Channel on Odeo. Odeo is already awash with anarchist podcasts. Just look up the tags anarchy or anarchism
and see what's available. There's a vox pop from an anarchist fair in
London, there's an anarcha-fem radio show. There's a group called "Audio anarchy"
who read out (A) essays - it might not be as good as a conversation,
but it beats the latest Brittney Spears single on the radio.
