A protest will be held at
the state
funded memorial service for Kerry Packer at the Sydney Opera House on
Friday 17.
March from 11am.

“Howard’s decision to
sponsor a state
funded memorial for Kerry Packer – a man who proudly boasted about his
ability
to evade paying tax and who spent his life playing polo while others
worked to
create his fortune – has outraged many who will make their voices
heard,” said
protest organiser Simon Cunich.

“Howard is hosting million
dollar
memorials for dead bosses while workers suffer under his Work Choices
laws
aimed at enriching the likes of Kerry Packer. I’m happy when parasites
like
Packer drop dead” said protest organiser Louise O’Shea.When:      11
