A CONVERSATION WITH NOAM CHOMSKY. On August 21st, While over-18-year-old non-incarcerated Australian citizens vote on who will have the distinguished honour of exploiting us for another 3 years, we invite you to join us at the Jura Books discussion forum to view and debate an alternative. A new anarchist documentary film: "Theory and Practice: Conversations with Noam Chomsky and Howard Zinn". We will be viewing the first half of this documentary where Chomsky discusses the evolution of his libertarian socialist ideals since childhood, his vision for a future post-capitalist society, and his views on the state, science, the Enlightenment, and the future of the planet. » |
